Bolivia - weather in November

Flag - Bolivia

Map - Bolivia

November in Bolivia is the last month of spring, although in the north it is already the summer, i.e. we are in the hot and rainy period.
In the northern lowlands, occupied by the forest, where it is hot all year round (see Cobija, Riberalta), the average daily temperatures are around 27 °C (80.5 °F). The rains are by now frequent and abundant. However, when it doesn't rain, it can get very hot during the day, and in the worst moments the temperature can reach 38/39 °C (100/102 °F).
In the central-southern plains, in the Gran Chaco, occupied by the savannah, the average temperatures are similar, however, the rains are a little less frequent, while the heat waves can be intense, and the heat records are 41/42 °C (106/108 °F).
In the Andes (see La Paz, Sucre, Lake Titicaca, Salar de Uyuni), during the day this is the month in which the temperatures are milder, however, at night it is still cold at high altitudes, and above 3,500 meters (11,500 feet), the temperature can drop below freezing.

The following tables show the climate averages in the month of November in Bolivia in a selection of locations.
