Climate in Kharkiv (Ukraine)

The climate of Kharkiv (or Kharkov) is moderately continental, with very cold winters, in which the temperature is often below freezing, and warm summers.
The city is located in northeastern Ukraine, about 35 kilometers (22 miles) away from the border with Russia.
