Climate in Entebbe (Uganda)

Entebbe's climate is tropical.
The city is located in central-southern Uganda, practically at the equator, on the shores of Lake Victoria, at an altitude of 1,100 meters (3,600 feet), and about 30 km (18 mi) southwest of Kampala. The altitude and the waters of the lake mitigate the climate, which is warm without excesses all year round.
As for the rains, we are in one of the wettest areas of Uganda. There is no dry season, however, there are two rainier periods, from March to June and from October to December. The wettest months are April and May.
Thunderstorms are very frequent. In fact, we are in one of the areas with the most thunderstorms in the world (sometimes even without rain): on average, every second day, with a maximum of 20-25 per month in April and May.
However, the sun shines quite often, with a maximum in January and February, that is, in one of the two relatively dry seasons.
