The climate of Arusha is
subtropical, tempered by altitude, with a warmer period from October to March and a cooler period from June to August.
The city is located in the north-east of Tanzania, at 1,350 meters (4,430 feet) above sea level, and at the foot of Mount Meru, beyond which lies Kilimanjaro.
