The climate of Springbok is subtropical desert, tempered by altitude, with very mild winters (but during which it can get cold at night) and hot summers. The sun shines all year round.
The small city is located in the west of South Africa, at 950 meters (3,115 feet) above sea level. We are in the Northern Cape Province, the driest part of South Africa. Nearby are cities such as Okiep and Nababeep.
Despite the altitude, it can get very hot during the day from October to March.
