Climate in Koingnaas (South Africa)

The climate of Koingnaas is subtropical desert, with mild temperatures but very rare rain, and frequent clouds and mists.
The village is located in the west of South Africa, on the coast of the South Atlantic Ocean, in the Northern Cape Province.
A cold current flows over the sea, so the climate is cool and arid.
But a hot wind can blow from the desert all year round, perhaps for a day or two. In winter this wind blows a little more often, and can bring temperatures up to 35 °C (95 °F), while in summer it can bring higher temperatures, up to 38/40 °C (100/104 °F).
On the other hand, in winter, it can get cold at night, in fact the temperature can drop below 5 °C (41 °F).
