The climate of Khabarovsk is
cold continental (according to the Köppen classification, humid continental climate with mild summer and influenced by the monsoon - Dwb), with cold and dry winters and quite warm and rainy summers.
Khabarovsk is a city of 615,000 inhabitants, the capital of the territory (Kraj) of the same name, in south-eastern Asian Russia (Siberia), along the Trans-Siberian Railway, at the confluence of the Amur and Ussuri rivers, and at 48 degrees north latitude.
