Victoria's climate is tropical, hot all year round. There is no real dry season, although the rains are more abundant in December and January and less abundant from June to August.
The city is the capital of the Seychelles and is located on the east coast of the island of Mahé, at 4°40' south of the Equator.
The southeast trade winds blow with greater intensity in the austral winter, from June to September.
