The climate of Ziguinchor is tropical, hot all year round, with a dry season from November to May, and a rainy season from June to October due to the African monsoon.
The city is located in southwestern Senegal, on the banks of the Casamance River, about 50 km from the coast and a short distance from the border with Guinea-Bissau.
We are in the wettest area of Senegal.
