The climate of Cap Skirring is tropical, with a dry season from November to May, and a rainy season from June to October due to the African monsoon.
During the day it is hot all year round, but from December to February the nights are quite cool and the humidity is quite low.
The town is located in the extreme south of Senegal, on the coast, in the Ziguinchor region, on the border with Guinea Bissau.
