The climate of Zamboanga is tropical, hot all year round, with a relatively dry season from January to April and a rainy season from June to October, with May and November as transition months.
Given the low latitude, temperatures are particularly stable throughout the year. With an average of 28 °C (82.5 °F) even in January, Zamboanga is the hottest city in the Philippines in winter. However, the hottest period, though only slightly, is from March to May, when temperatures can occasionally reach 37/38 °C (99/100 °F).
