The climate of Legazpi is equatorial, that is, hot, humid and rainy all year round. Rainfall is particularly abundant in November and December, while the least rainy month is April.
We are in the area of ​​the Philippines where it rains even in winter, being exposed to the northeast monsoon, and therefore there is no dry season.

Legazpi (or Legaspi) is a city of 210,000 inhabitants, located in the north-central of the Philippines, in the southeastern part of the island of Luzon, on the coast of the Gulf of Albay, in the Province of Albay, of which it is the capital, in the Bicol region, and at 13 degrees north latitude.
Nearby is Mayon volcano, 2,463 meters (8,081 feet) high.

Along with the central-northern Philippines, Legazpi can be hit by typhoons, the tropical cyclones of Southeast Asia. Typhoons generally occur from May to December, although they are more frequent between August and November.
