Weather and climate in Windhoek (Namibia)

The climate of Windhoek is sub-tropical arid, tempered by altitude, with a hot, rainy season from December to March and a dry season from May to October, within which there is a cool period from May to August. In the latter, at night the temperature can drop a few degrees below freezing. During the day, it can get very hot from September to March.
