In Safi, the climate is very mild, similar to the Mediterranean one, but with a milder winter and a relatively cooler summer. In fact, a cold current flows along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, which can cause some morning mists and is able temper the summer heat. However, when the wind blows from the desert, the temperature rises by several degrees.
The city is located on the coast of Morocco, northwest of Marrakesh and north of Essaouira.
