The climate of Tampico is
sub-tropical, with a pleasantly warm, quite dry winter and a hot, muggy, and rainy summer.
The city is located on the east coast of Mexico in the state of Tamaulipas, at 22 degrees north latitude.

Best Time
The best time to visit Tampico is the dry season, from November to May. In April and May, however, it can be very hot, while in November a hurricane can still arrive. You can therefore choose the period from December to March, even if it can sometimes get cool, so it will be useful to bring a sweater and a jacket.
