The climate of San Felipe is
sub-tropical desert, with a very mild winter and a very hot, muggy summer.
The city is located in the northernmost part of the Gulf of California, in the state of Baja California. We are in the coastal part of the Sonoran desert.
Although the winter is very mild, on colder days the night temperature can drop to the freezing mark.
From June to November, but with a higher probability from August to October, the city can be affected by the remnants of Pacific Ocean
hurricanes, which arrive from tropical regions after passing over Baja California. However, hurricanes are rare in June, the month in which they are most frequent is September, and historically they have never occurred in November.
