The climate of San Felipe is sub-tropical desert, with a very mild winter and a very hot, muggy summer.
The city is located in the northernmost part of the Gulf of California, in the state of Baja California. We are in the coastal part of the Sonoran desert.
During the winter, on colder days the night temperature can drop to the freezing mark.
