Climate chart - Plaisance
The climate of Plaisance is tropical, with a hot, rainy period from December to April and a relatively cool, dry period from June to October.
Plaisance is the other name of the Sir-Seewoosagur-Ramgoolam airport, which is located on the southeastern coast of the main island of Mauritius, and therefore directly receives the southeast trade winds in the cool period. For this reason, showers are quite frequent even in this period. If we also consider the days with less than 1 millimeter (0.04 inch) of rain per day, on average there are 18 rainy days in June, 21 in July, 18 in August, 15 in September and 14 in October.
