The climate of the Agaléga Islands is tropical, with a hot period from November to April and a relatively cool period from June to August.
There is no dry season, however, there is a less rainy period from June to October.
The two small islands (North Island and South Island) are located in the Indian Ocean, at the 10th parallel south, so far north of the main island of Mauritius, which is at the 20th parallel.
