The climate of Santa Marinella is
Mediterranean, with mild, rainy winters and hot, sunny summers.
The town is located on the Lazio coast, about 50 km (30 mi) north-west of Rome. Nearby are Civitavecchia and Santa Severa. Inland, we find the westernmost part of the Monti della Tolfa, hills that reach 600 meters (1,970 feet) in height.
We are on the Capo Linaro promontory, where the influence of the sea is very strong and therefore
the climate is particularly mild. Suffice it to say that the temperature almost never drops to -5 °C (23 °F) in winter and almost never reaches 35 °C (95 °F) in summer.
