Climate in Kozhikode (Kerala)

The climate of Kozhikode (or Calicut) is tropical, with a rainy season from April to November and a dry season from December to March. The rains are very frequent and abundant in the monsoon period, from June to October, with a maximum at the beginning of the period (June-July).
The city is located in southwestern India, in the state of Kerala, at 11 degrees north latitude, on the Malabar coast, overlooking the Laccadive Sea.
