Climate in Jodhpur (Rajasthan)

Jodhpur's climate is arid subtropical, with a rainy season that runs roughly from July to mid-September.
The city is located in northwestern India, in the state of Rajasthan, at 26 degrees north latitude and 280 meters (920 feet) above sea level, on the banks of the Jojari River, which is dry for many months of the year.

Also, winter is warmer and sunnier than in New Delhi and the Indo-Gangetic Plain, where fog can sometimes form.
