The climate of Luxor is subtropical desert, with very mild winters (during which it can get cold at night) and very hot, sunny summers.
The city is located in south-central Egypt, along the Nile River. Nearby is the Karnak Temple Complex.
We are in one of the driest areas in the world. It may not even rain for a few years in a row.
