Climate in Santos (São Paulo)

The climate of Santos is tropical, without a real dry season, but with a warmer and rainier period from December to March, and a cooler and less rainy period from May to August.
The city is located in southern Brazil, about 30 km (18 mi) south of Sao Paulo, on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, and just south of the Tropic of Capricorn.
Given the latitude, Santos is a very rainy and not very sunny city.
From June to August, it is the winter of the southern hemisphere, which is often a dry period in Brazil, but rainfall occurs here due to the winds coming from the sea. The best time to visit Santos is from June to August, being the coolest and driest of the year. The sea, however, is very cool, especially in July and August.
