The climate of Pirassununga is subtropical, with a cool and dry season from June to August, and a hot and rainy season from November to March.
The city is located in southern Brazil, in the state of São Paulo, at 22 degrees south latitude and 650 meters (2,100 feet) above sea level.
From June to August, the dry period, is the winter of the southern hemisphere, and in fact the temperature decreases.
