tropical, without a true dry season, but with two wetter periods from March to May and from October to December, due to the passage of the sun at the zenith, and a relatively dry period in January and February. From June to September, during the austral winter, temperatures drop a bit, while the rains are quite frequent.
The small city is located in the southern part of the state of Bahia, on the banks of the Caravelas River, near the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, at 17 degrees south latitude.

For a beach holiday in Caravelas, you can choose the two relatively dry seasons. The months of January and February are hot and muggy, but the sea is warmer.
