The climate of Campo Grande is
tropical, with a relatively cool and dry season from June to August, and a hot and rainy season from November to March.
The city is the capital of the state of Mato Grosso do Sul and is located in the southwest of Brazil, at 20 degrees south latitude and 550 meters (1,800 feet) above sea level.
