Climate chart - Boa Vista
Boa Vista's climate is tropical, hot all year round, with a rainy season from May to August and a dry season from October to March.
The city is the capital of the state of Roraima and is located in the extreme north of Brazil, at 2 degrees north latitude, on the banks of the Branco River. We are in an area, on the border with Venezuela and Guyana, covered by the savannah and not by the forest, because the dry season is long. Furthermore, we are in the small area of Brazil north of the equator, where the dry season corresponds to the winter of the northern hemisphere.
