Aracaju's climate is tropical, with a rainy season from March to August and a dry season from October to December, while January, February and September are transitional months.
The city is the capital of the small state of Sergipe and is located in the east of Brazil, at 11 degrees south latitude, on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean.
Temperatures are quite stable, although they drop a bit in the austral winter, from June to September.
