The climate of Villa de María del Río Seco (or simply Villa de María) is subtropical, with mild, dry winters and hot, rainy summers. In summer, the rains often occur in the form of thunderstorms. In addition, the climate is subject to temperature changes.
In winter, from mid-May to mid-August, the difference in temperature between night and day is often significant.
