The climate of Las Flores is subtropical.
However, throughout the year, there can be temperature fluctuations.
Winter, from June to August, is mild, however, it can get cold at night. Sometimes fog can form. During cold spells, the temperature can drop a few degrees below freezing, at least at night. The records for the last twenty years are -6/-7 °C (19/21 °F), although in June 1967 the temperature dropped to -9 °C (15.8 °F), and in July 1988 to -9.3 °C (15.3 °F). However, snow is rare.
Summer, from December to February, is warm, but with cool nights, and quite frequent thunderstorms. There can be heat waves, during which the temperature can reach 38/40 °C (100/104 °F). In January 2022 it reached 41.8 °C (107.2 °F). On other occasions, it can get very cool, or even a little cold, at night.
Las Flores is a town located in Argentina, at 36 degrees south latitude, in the Buenos Aires Province, and 140 km (85 mi) south of the capital.
