The climate of Gualeguaychú is subtropical, with mild winters and hot, rainy summers. In summer, rainfall often occurs in the form of thunderstorms.
However, throughout the year, there can be temperature swings.

Gualeguaychú is a city of 110,000 inhabitants located in the northeast of Argentina, at 33 degrees south latitude, in the province of Entre Ríos, and about 20 kilometers away from the border with Uruguay.
