The climate of Coronel Pringles is temperate oceanic.
However, throughout the year, there can be temperature fluctuations.
Winter, from June to August, is quite mild, however, it can get cold at night. Sometimes fog can form. During cold spells, the temperature can drop several degrees below freezing, at least at night. The record is -12 °C (10.5 °F), set in July 2007. However, snow is rare.
Summer, from December to February, is warm, but with cool nights, and quite frequent thunderstorms. There can be heat waves, during which the temperature can reach 37/38 °C (99/100 °F). The record is 40 °C (104 °F), set in January 2022. On other occasions, it can get very cool, or even a little cold, at night.

Coronel Pringles is a town of 20,000 inhabitants located in Argentina, at almost 38 degrees south latitude and 245 meters (800 ft) above sea level, in the province of Buenos Aires.
To the west is the small mountain range called Sierras de Ventania, which reaches 1,239 meters (4,065 ft) in height, and although it is not very high, it stands out compared to the flat environment of the Pampas. Nearby is the tourist resort of Sierra de La Ventana.
