Denmark - weather in September

In September, the first autumn month, the climate in Denmark is generally very mild and quite rainy.

The average daily temperature fluctuates around 14 °C (57 °F): a little less in the north, a little more in the south.
In the coldest periods, which generally occur in the second part of the month, the night temperature can drop to a few degrees above freezing.
On the other hand, on the warmest days, generally at the beginning of the month, the temperature can reach 22/23 °C (72/73 °F), and occasionally up to 26/28 °C (79/82 °F).

The rains are quite frequent.

The sea is cold for swimming, in fact its temperature is around 16 °C (61 °F).

During the month, the length of the days gradually decreases. On September 22, the autumn equinox, the day lasts 12 hours out of 24 all over the world.
