Denmark - weather in July

Flag - Denmark

Map - Denmark

In July, the central month of summer, the climate in Denmark is very mild.

July in Denmark is the mildest month of the year together with August. The average daily temperature ranges from about 17 °C (62.5 °F) in northern Jutland to 18 °C (64.5 °F) in Copenhagen, in the east.
At night it can get very cool, in fact the temperature can drop below 10 °C (50 °F), and sometimes down to 5 °C (41 °F).
On the other hand, on the warmest days, the temperature can reach 28/29 °C (82/84 °F), and can more rarely exceed these values.

The rains are quite frequent.

The sea is cold for swimming, in fact its temperature is about 17 °C (63 °F), which however for locals and tourists from northern Europe can be sufficient.

Although the sun in Denmark does not shine very often, it is the sunniest time of the year, which lasts until August. The sunniest place is, in the southeast, the island of Bornholm (see Rønne).

The days are still among the longest of the year, however, their length gradually decreases during the month. In July, the average day in Denmark is about 17 hours long.
At the beginning of the month, there are still white nights, in which it does not get completely dark even at midnight.

The following tables show the climate averages in the month of July in Denmark in a selection of locations.
