Denmark - weather in April

In April, the second month of spring, the climate in Denmark is quite mild, although there are also cold and windy days.

The average daily temperature ranges from around 7 °C (44.5 °F) on the northern tip of Jutland (see Skagen) to 8 °C (46.5 °F) in the south.
In the coldest periods, which generally occur in the first part of the month, the night temperature can drop a few degrees below freezing.
On the other hand, on the warmest days, generally in the second half of the month, the temperature can reach 18/20 °C (64/68 °F), and more rarely 25 °C (77 °F).

Precipitation is quite frequent, however, April in Denmark is relatively the driest month of the year. Sometimes, especially in the first half of the month, when the winds blow from the north, there can still be some snow showers.

During the month, the length of the days gradually increases. In April, the average day in Denmark is just over 14 hours long.
