Albania - weather in November

In November, an autumn month, the climate in Albania is generally mild, cloudy and rainy. In fact, it is the rainiest month of the year.
The average daily temperature is around 15 °C (59 °F) on the coast (see Durrës, Vlorë, Sarandë) and 12.5 °C (54.5 °F) in the capital, Tirana, which is located a little further east, while it is around 8 °C (46.5 °F) in the cities located on the eastern hills (see Peshkopi, Korçë).
Sometimes the winds from the north can bring the first cold periods, during which the night temperature can approach freezing in the plains, and it can also snow on the hills and mountains of the interior. This happens more easily in the second half of the month.
The rainfall is abundant on the coast and on the western mountain slopes. In the eastern areas, the rains are a little more contained.
During the month, the length of the days gradually decreases. In November, the average day in Albania is 10 hours long.
