Albania - weather in April

In April, the second month of spring, the climate in Albania is generally mild.
The average daily temperature is 15/16 °C (59/61 °F) on the coast (see Durrës, Vlorë, Sarandë), it is slightly lower in the capital, Tirana, which is located a little further east, while it is 11/12 °C (52/54 °F) in the cities located on the eastern hills (see Peshkopi, Korçë).
However, sometimes there can still be days a bit cold, especially in the first half of the month.
Rainfall is a little rarer than in the previous months, however, periods of bad weather are still possible, with sometimes heavy rains on the coast and on the western mountain slopes. In the eastern areas, precipitation is a little more limited, and every now and then, although more rarely than in the previous months, it can still occur in the form of snow.
The highest mountains, on the other hand, are usually covered in snow.
During the month, the length of the days gradually increases. In April, the average day in Albania is 13 and a half hours long.
