The climate of Kelibia is
Mediterranean, with mild, relatively rainy winters and hot, sunny summers.
Kelibia (or Qalibya) is located in the north-east of Tunisia, at the tip of the Cape Bon peninsula, on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea, and about 70 km (43 mi) from Pantelleria.
Although winter is mild, there can sometimes be cold periods, during which the temperature can remain below 10 °C (50 °F) during the day. In January 1981 and in January-February 1999, it even snowed. In January 1981 the temperature dropped to 0 °C (32 °F).
