Climate chart - Atakpamé
The climate of Atakpamé is tropical, with a hotter, dry period from November to February and a rainy period from March to October.
The city is located in south-central Togo, between 250 and 400 meters (820 and 1,300 feet) above sea level, and is the capital of the Plateaux (Highlands) region.
During the dry period, the Harmattan, the dust-laden wind, can blow from the desert.
