Herceg Novi, where it's located

The climate of Herceg Novi is Mediterranean, with mild, rainy winters, and hot, sunny summers.
Herceg Novi (or Castelnuovo) is located on the Adriatic coast, in the area of the Bay of Kotor.
The rains are particularly abundant: being exposed to the southerly winds and near the mountains, Herceg Novi is one of the rainiest cities at sea level in Europe.
The winter, from December to February, is mild, and is characterized by sunny periods, alternating with periods of bad weather. Sometimes the rains can be abundant, and a strong southerly wind can blow.
Although the winter is generally mild, there can sometimes be very cold days, where the Levanac blows, a cold wind coming from the interior. In these cases, the temperature can drop to 0 °C (32 °F) or below at night, while the maximum can remain around 5 °C (41 °F) or below. The record is -7 °C (19.5 °F).
It is rare for the city to be covered in a white blanket of snow, however, this can happen every now and then, for example, it happened in February 2018.
The summer, from June to August, is hot and sunny, with some afternoon thunderstorms, and a few rainy days, more likely in June.
Generally, the heat is not excessive and the breeze blows from the sea, however, there can be very hot and sultry periods, with highs of 35 °C (95 °F) or more.
The average temperature of the coldest month (January) is of 8.5 °C (47 °F), that of the warmest months (July, August) is of 24.3 °C (76 °F). Here are the average temperatures.
