Climate chart - Arak
Arak (formerly Soltanabad) is a city of 520,000 inhabitants located in the central-western part of Iran, in the province of Markazi, at 34 degrees north latitude and 1,700 meters (5,575 ft) above sea level.

The climate of Arak is arid continental, with cold winters and hot, sunny summers.

Winter, from December to February, is cold, with a daily average around freezing. Fog can form during periods of stable weather.
