Climate in Pecs (Hungary)

The climate of Pécs is continental, with cold winters and warm summers.
The city is located in the south-west of Hungary, about 30 km (18 mi) north of the border with Croatia. The altitude varies from 120 to 200 meters (390 to 650 feet) in most of the city, but to the north there are hills, the Mecsek Mountains, and there are neighborhoods that reach about 350 meters (1,150 ft).
