Weather and climate in Kuusamo (Finland)

The climate of Kuusamo is cold continental, with freezing winters and mild summers.
The city is located in eastern Finland, 270 meters (885 feet) above sea level, in North Ostrobothnia, and a short distance from the border with Russia.
