Odense, where it's located

The climate of Odense is Baltic, that is to say, relatively continental, with cold winters and mild to pleasantly warm summers.
The city is located on the island of Funen, east of southern Jutland.
Given the latitude (55°24'N), the white nights, in which the sun sets but it does not get completely dark even at midnight, occur from June 6 to July 6.
Although winter is not very cold for the latitude, it is often humid, windy and rainy. Snow is quite frequent, although generally not abundant. Even in spring, until April or the first half of May, there is often cold and unstable weather.
Occasionally, there may be cold waves in winter, in which the temperature can drop below -15 °C (5 °F). During the coldest winters, the temperature dropped to 23 °C (-9.5) in February 2012, to -21 °C (-6 °F) in January 1982 and January 1985, and to -20 °C (-4 °F) in February 1978 and December 2010.
In summer, short hot periods are possible. The temperature reached 32 °C (89.5 °F) in July 2018.
The average temperature of the coldest month (February) is of 1.3 °C (34 °F), that of the warmest month (July) is of 17.9 °C (64 °F). Here are the average temperatures.
