Climate chart - Tucuruí
The climate of Tucuruí is tropical, with a rainy season from December to May and a dry season from July to October. The hottest time of the year is from August to November, before the rains lower the temperature a bit.
The city is located in northeastern Brazil, in the state of Pará, on the banks of the Tocantins River. Just south of the city is the Tucuruí Dam, which created a large artificial lake.
