Climate chart - Ceres
The climate of Ceres is subtropical, with mild, dry winters and hot, rainy summers. In summer, the rains often occur in the form of thunderstorms.
In winter, from mid-May to mid-August, the difference in temperature between night and day is often significant. In addition, although the winter is mild, there can sometimes be outbreaks of cold air from the south, during which the temperature can drop below freezing at night. This usually happens from late May to early September. The record is -6.6 °C (20.1 °F), set in July 2000.
Summer, from December to February, is hot and sunny, although thunderstorms are quite frequent.

Ceres is a town of 16,000 inhabitants located in northern Argentina, at almost 30 degrees south latitude, in the province of Santa Fe.
