The climate of San Carlos de Bolívar is
subtropical (according to the Köppen classification, humid subtropical climate - Cfa), although it is close to the threshold of the oceanic climate - Cfb, since the average of the warmest month is just above 22 °C (71.5 °F).
However, throughout the year, there can be
temperature fluctuations.
Winter, from June to August, is mild, however, it can get cold at night. Sometimes fog can form. During cold spells, the temperature can drop several degrees below freezing, at least at night. The records in the winter months are -8/-9 °C (16/18 °F). However, snow is rare.

San Carlos de Bolívar is a small city located in the Argentine Pampas, at 36 degrees south latitude, in the province of Buenos Aires, and 270 km (165 km) southwest of the capital.
